The Funding Forum is a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) financing focused platform for public-private stakeholders’ cooperation.
Our mission is to empower the stakeholders to continuously shape the future of inclusive micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) financing, bearing in mind that the total contribution of MSMEs to developing economies’ employment is about 60-70% yet the yearly funding gap for SMEs in developing economies is $5.2 trillion USD thereby hampering the capacity of MSMEs to further contribute in wealth creation and poverty reduction.
With MSMEs in Nigeria accounting for over 80% of businesses, 60% of employment and about c.50% of the national GDP; the sector has positioned itself as a critical national socio-economic driver and requires frequently redesigned inclusive and digital compliant funding framework that addresses the new MSMEs’ challenging and accelerating enterprise landscape.
The funding forum is a strategic independent platform for all the MSMEs stakeholders to review the emerging global trends and harmonize efforts to improve MSMEs financing.
We know by experience that It’s through shared purpose and successful collaborative efforts will the MSMEs be empowered to expand their contributions to the economic growth, job creation and poverty reduction across developing economies hence The Funding Forum.
So how does your organization want to engage with the funding forum? As an Attendant, Exhibitor, Speaker, Sponsor, investor, grant maker, lender or combination of the options? We want to hear from you; register your interest at www.tff.csed.org.ng
